Jessica Soho meets Janina San Miguel
This is an interview with Bb. Pilipinas-World Janina San Miguel aired last March in Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho.
In my opinion, the more she expose herself on tv, the more we will question if she truly deserve to be crowned as Bb. Pilipinas-World. She's adding more injury to her image by not trying to be herself.
Whether we like it or not, she'll gonna represent our country in the upcoming Ms. World Pageant. So let's just support her.
I just hope manalo siya. This is the only way I think she can redeem herself.
Bb. Pilipinas 2008 - Ms. Janina San Miguel
I don't really watch Bb. Pilipinas pero ok sana kung napanood ko tong part na to sa mismong night of the pageant. ^_^ I'm sure everyone will agree with me when I say that the most entertaining part of Bb. Pilipinas 2008 is the question and answer portion.
One of the title holder was Candidate No. 2 Patricia Fernandez who was named Bb. Pilipinas-International.
Filipinos in Family Guy's episodes
Have you ever watched an episode of The Family Guy series? Just like Simpsons, it shows some level of racial discrimination. (But according to some, the intensity of insults are much milder when compared to the other cartoon series).
Anyway, here are some scenes from the Family Guy series where Filipinos are mentioned. Medyo insulting nga yung ibang dialogues. lalo na yung part about filipina nurses!
I don't usually watch this cartoon series but I find it hilarious to watch stewie speaking in tagalog. ^_^

Everybody knows Manny Pacquiao, The Filipino sport icon who brought pride to every filipinos as long as boxing is concern. Idolize by many, he is indeed a pride of our nation.
But being a sports icon comes also the responsibility to be a role model to the youth! I just hope he does know what "role-model" means

Do you know that Superman dropped by Manila as mentioned in a news in "Superman Returns" at around 10:55 am? Everyone is wondering kung ano ginawa niya dito sa Pinas...
Wonder no more dahil may nakakita kung ano ang dahilan ng pagdaan niya dito sa pinas.
