Recently, I shifted some of my self-hosted wordpress blogs to blogger due to host related problems. I could have opted to wordpress.com for a wordpress blog but I read alot of reviews about its limitation... That's the reason why I tried to set up my self-hosted wordpress in the first place after leaving blogger. And its really a pain to maintain a self-hosted wordpress blog in a free hosting service. So now I decided to go back to blogger and take advantage of their free hosting and just point my domain to their servers. While most of the bloggers are leaving for wordpress, here I am trying to go back from wordpress. Now, there's a lot of disadvantages of moving or migrating from wordpress back to blogger but I won't be tackling about those topics since its not really my concern. Now for the big question... How did I migrate my post and comments from wordpress to blogger? For those of you who have tried to do this would know how difficult it was to migrate back to blogger. If you do a search of "How to move WordPress to Blogger", most of the result will talk about how to do the other way. Finally, there is a nifty converter hosted on Google App Engine that will convert your post and comments from wordpress to a format applicable for blogger. Just follow the instructions and your done.
